Nous sommes un couple originaire de Bordeaux, plus exactement une petite station balnéaire qui se nomme Arcachon.
En Février 2018, nous nous sommes lancés dans la grande aventure et nous avons ouvert notre restaurant : notre bébé s'appelle, La Récréation.
A la Récréation, il n'y a d'autre ambition que celle de proposer une cuisine sincère, ancrée dans les saisons, authentique comme moderne, joyeuse et généreuse.

Google Traduction With a perfect combination of invention and attention to presentation without any pretension, I loved dining at La Recreation. Of the meals I enjoyed in Malaga, of which there are many, this effortlessly topped them all.
To start with the staff are incredibly welcoming and the vibe is chilled out. The menu isn’t overly extensive but offers options for everyone. The philosophy of ‘do what you love and love what you do’ is apparent here and the kitchen nails each of there offerings.
Starters... the Foie gras was delightful and shoutn’t be overlooked but the standout was the méli-mélo which included Aubergine, Muchrooms, onions and more. If scaled up slightly this could serve as a heavenly main for vegetable lovers.
Mains... The Duck its all about the duck... I my case the Confit but there is a divine breast on offer as well. The Duck Confit dish has such incredible combination of flavours and is cooked to perfection with crisp skin and tender meat that falls off the bone served on light puréed potatoes with the chestnut sauce ringing the outside. There is a prawn dish tempted as well but omg the duck...
If looking for wines to accompany there’s a good selection on offer of both French and Spanish that are well worth a sip.
If you have room for dessert then the Chefs Surprise will live up to its name and is a great choice to round off the meal.
In truth the photos here don’t do the meal justice and I couldn’t hold back the forks from plunging into the starters before a quick snap.
The food did take some time for the first course to arrive but this is slow food served with purpose and passion so well worth the wait which goes quickly if you are in good company.
I’ll be returning for a meal on my next visit to Malaga and the prospect of eating here again may likely mean returning even sooner than planned.
